Holder
One of my favorite customers picked this Twin Turboed monster up a few weeks back. He drove it back from Arkansas and had me get after it. This was a slightly used vehicle that has seen some dirt roads. Previous owner was a CEO of some organic egg farm for Walmart. The rear rocker panels were trashed and had quite a few rock chips. The plan was to get the paint polished, fix what rock chips I could, send the rear rockers to get painted and then send the vehicle out for paint protection film. Some before shots. I can't ever seem to get swirls to show up on camera with white vehicles. But believe me she was dull when I started. The exhaust tip seemed cheep for a $100k vehicle and really difficult to clean up. I don't think these wheels ever got a proper cleaning. New wheels are on the way and will be cleaned, decontaminated and protected before they go on. Deep Wheel Cleaner and Turbostick. These are some massive brakes, only had a about 3/4" all the way around so the turbostock was perfect. Before i knew he was getting knew wheels i cleaned the heck of these. It took 2 applications of DWC to get them in good shape.
Holder
I did a typical 2 bucket strip wash. Doused the front end with Waterless Wash to soften up the bugs. Mixed in some car shampoo, APC, and WCW in my wash bucket and my foamer. After getting out of the cold Kansas weather i dried and clayed the vehicle. Not too bad, worst parts were the rear bumper area and lower rocker panels. Did a small test spot on the hood, both PCP and PFP with MF pads were needed. One pass of each. Removed a few deep scratches around the door handle as well.
Holder
After getting the paint corrected we moved on to paint chip repair. Keep in mind i worked on this vehicle multiple days. We're going for perfect for this daily driver. Here's where I marked all the paint chips to be repaired. We used the Langka system. Almost forgot about those exhaust tips. I used APC and steel wool to clean them up and remove all the build up.
Holder
After getting the BMW back from the paint protection film installer there were lots of mistakes made and also found a new dent on the rear quarter panel. So back next week to get it redone. The vehicle is still naked with no protection until the film gets applied.

K5/TBSS
Nice job Andrew. Do you still use DWC on exhaust tips? Seemed like you did that during your clinic last spring.
