How to remove water stains from hood liner?

I have dirty water stains around the hood vent on my hood liner, and am wondering what product to use to get rid of them. I tried a bit of All Purpose Cleaner and a MF towel, but that only helped a little bit. The surface of the liner is sort of felt-like.

Do a search for the RS4 hood liner write-up that I did a while back. I used the little green machine and the carpet upholstery cleaner with a few brushes and a steamer. I would post the link for you, but I'm on my phone and it's a pain in the butt to search.

To get hood liners clean in the past, I have used Adam's APC and the Fender Brush.  I used long, straight, downward motions, then dried it with the Master Blaster.  

 

I took mine off my TBSS, because I thought it was ugly!
