0 HydroBlueJK
I used quick sealant and Americana back around October and when it rains you can still see it bead.. It's a black truck that sits outside all day in every condition and it's holding up fine
0 BKazzle
Whoever told you that doesn't know what they are talking about. The curing temperatures of Teflon are very high, if I remember correctly and won't stick to your paint. DuPont has articles about this stuff.. Car dealers are famous for trying to sell customers a 'Teflon coating that lasts 5 years!' and it's not true at all. Claying and polishing are what makes a smooth finish and a sealant, wax or semi-permanent coating is for protection. (For the most part: there are other variables, but that can be saved for later) What wax are you using and what is your question? 0 Chris@Adams
Did you clay first? The NEW! Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant will do you a good job and on a black car it would benefit you to top off with wax to give a deep wet look.....Adam's Americana Premium Carnauba Paste Car Wax
0 Team Adam's
Don't buy into the hype of 'teflon' being used in an automotive product. Fact is teflon is heat applied, so unless you have an oven to send your car thru that can heat the car up to 600+* theres no way anything you apply will actually leave you with a Teflon coating. Products claiming to contian it might have particles, but they won't bond with your finish without heat. Its a marketing gimmic.
