0 Chris@Adams
It will take a little time getting the tar off but you will be able to make them look new. Retired_CPO
0 Chewy
I'd use a 4/0 steel wool with Adams MP1 then polish with MP2 hit it with some sealant, BG, stand back and watch faces melt! The steel wool will speed the job up 100 fold! Retired_CPO
0 Retired_CPO
Looks like I need to make a trip to get some steel wool...where is the best place to get that at?
0 Chris@Adams
If the APC won't all the cut the tar, I have also used Brillo or SOS pads.......
0 Team Adam's
Any hardware store should carry #0000 Steel Wool. I'd definitely use that with MP #1 after cleaning them with APC since those will take some effort to bring back to life. Retired_CPO
0 Chewy
Also, tape off the paint around the tip to protect it from the steel wool. This will also allow you to be more aggressive with it without the worry of harming the paint. Retired_CPO
