Cleaning/Brushing Wash Pads

Okay guys I have a few of the Wash pads and i love them, but when it comes to cleaning them its kind of a pain.  More the brushing part then the washing part. 

 

The brush is pulling strands of the pad out,  tried multiple brushes.  I dont want them to dreadlock

 

the Jumbos dont do it as much, but the regular size isn't staying in the best condition..

Any brushing secrets? or special brushes?

I use a pet brush, the one with a single line of long metal bristles. It will pull out the "dead" fuzz each time but that's kind of the idea. I personally don't use the wash pads anymore and have switched to a wool mitt but the brushing regimen is the same.

I use this and I find it works better with a wet wash pad.

i will try the wet pad and get a pet brush as well see if those help out

I use a pet brush as well. It pulls out a bit of the loose stands, and "re-fluffs" the pad. I use it after each wash, once the pad is dry, and it's kept my pads in great shape

yea i just tried the pet brush and it works pretty good!
