Revive's stripping abilities

Ace22

Question

Just wondering as I fully detailed this weekend, including wash (with diluted all purpose cleaner), clay, polish, liquid paint sealant, glaze, then Americana.  I have a few areas where there are still some noticeable scratches/swirls (very superficial and not deep).

If I just go over a few areas with revive polish to try to remove these fine scratches...how far down does this remove the layering?  Is it just down to bare clear?  Once removed, do I repeat the steps to build back protection or just put a coat of Americana and be done with it?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I have found Revive to strip Americana pretty effortlessly. Since you also have LPS down, you may have to hit it twice, but it shouldn't be too much trouble. Just wipe it on by hand as if you were applying it as a wax. PCP / PFP will also remove whatever's still left.

When you finish, I would reapply LPS, since you obviously originally used it for a reason, and the new stuff can be topped pretty soon after application compared to MSS.
