Aluminum Sided RV trailer

I have a 23 ft travel trailer that has black streaks from the water run off from the roof. They will not wash off no matter what I try. I am considering buying a PC. What products and what process should I go through to make it look good?

I had the same issue with a horse trailer and a utility trailer that I have.  I found that nothing Adams has worked.  What I did find that worked was a product called Bar Keepers Friend.  Can be purchased just about anywhere.  I just got the area wet and used my finger tips to rub product on.  Really dangerous and you run a risk of cutting your fingers if not careful.  Your fingerprints will disappear as well.  An old microfiber towel and same process would be a little safer.  It did however remove those black stains that your referring to.  The link below shows Home Depot, but I have even seen it at the local grocery store.

 

I talked to Dylan about this issue when I was dealing with it and don't recall his explanation as to why nothing worked except what I mention above.  And no it doesn't scratch.  Actually polished it up really well.

I use this stuff when cleaning my metal cookware. It's powdered magic in a can.

If you can't find barkeepers friend you can also use Bon Ami. That works well too. Also does a great job on windows of you make a solution of it.

Let us know how it works out.  I have seen the Bar Keepers Friend at the local grocery store as well.  Just figured everybody had a HD and it also shows you what your looking for.
