Team Adam's
Matt and myself have been fortunate enough to catch up with the rally and it's cars/drivers along their 8 day route from Las Vegas to New York. Matt spent some time with them in Denver, and I caught them at the half-way point in Chicago earlier this week. They started last weekend, and will end this weekend in New York. Check out more info on the rally here: http://www.goldrushrally.com/event-info/ Below are pictures we've snapped. LOTS of exotics and eye candy. Enjoy!! Denver: First day was when they arrived from Park City, UT. Second day was out that the race track, letting them stretch their legs a bit! cev103
Team Adam's
Chicago: Weather was cold and rainy, and most of the cars hadn't showed up yet from Denver. These care were all ones that were joining up at the mid-point of the rally. Pardon the picture quality, it was VERY dark in this particular parking garage...and it was 7 floors underground. http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll51/AdamsPolishes/Events/Gold%20Rush%20Rally%20Chicago/IMG_8486.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll51/AdamsPolishes/Events/Gold%20Rush%20Rally%20Chicago/IMG_8485.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll51/AdamsPolishes/Events/Gold%20Rush%20Rally%20Chicago/IMG_8484.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll51/AdamsPolishes/Events/Gold%20Rush%20Rally%20Chicago/IMG_8481.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll51/AdamsPolishes/Events/Gold%20Rush%20Rally%20Chicago/IMG_8480.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll51/AdamsPolishes/Events/Gold%20Rush%20Rally%20Chicago/IMG_8479.jpg This Rolls was the first to show up of those that drove from Denver to Chicago...of which there were only a handful. Almost all of them were trailered in. Nick from Synergy Detailing and myself in front of his newly-wrapped Lambo. Pardon the fuzzy picture. dipolley
That was too much fun. So glad I could tag along and help work on the cars during the Denver event. It was great hanging out with the Adam's Team. I miss hanging out with you guys.We are looking forward to next year. One of our staff here at the shop is one of the Gold Rush volunteers who is now on her way home from a very very long adventure. So when we find out more about next year, I'll let you know. dipolley
Lots of things in this picture scream "just because you have the money to do it, maybe you shouldn't" Don't hate. These two were hands down the coolest, most polite and down to earth people at the event. Seriously stand up folks. They were flashy, a little weird, and gawdy but this is an event where that kind of this gets attention for the Team and that attention means more donations for the charity.
