0 Wickedowesix
How/where did you store it? How much detail spray did you use? I used it the same day I received it in the mail. I used a few sprays on the paint just so it stayed wet/moist.

0 Team Adam's
Sounds strange, indeed. Especially for a brand new piece of clay. Post up some pics of it, and shoot me a PM. I'll get a new bar headed your way. Rich

0 LFairbanks
I have had clay do that; the purple bar. I just chalked it up to being normal and just wear gloves.

0 Adam
Shoot us an email, looks like you got the first dud Clay Bar we have sold, that's certainly not typical! Orders@AdamsPolishes.com scootertrash19

0 HFX Detailing
The older clay did this to me when I first used it. Once it was lubed up nicely it was fine. Sounds like Adam will be helping you out. Until then: Make sure your hands are CLEAN or use gloves. Spray the clay and work it well. Once you do that, you should not have that issue. 0 Chris@Adams
I think any clay would do that (stick to your hand) I always spray the clay and even my hand if need be ......... 07stanggt and Fphillips
0 Numbr3t
This was the same experience I had with the clay bar... I started a thread about it and tried some of the tips suggested without much luck. I just thought it was normal for this clay.
0 drumking15
I had a similar experience with my new bar...I found that you need to keep it moving. The longer your hot hand holds it the faster it peels apart. Also used a ton of detail spray and saw improved results. Yet it still sometimes becomes very sticky and peels apart in my hand similar to your picture Regardless it works awesome removing contaminants... what better than my old mothers clay
0 Wickedowesix
Update: the new clay that was sent to me was nite and day difference. Super sticky yet doesn't fall apart or sticks to my hand. Thanks again to nick for taking care of me!!!!! GerryC, Team Adam's and Hot_Wheel
0 Team Adam's
You bet, happy to help! If you haven't already tossed the old bar, save it for nasty jobs like wheel barrels or exhaust tips. JHL88 and Hot_Wheel
0 HFX Detailing
Same thing last night. The clay looks just like OP. Sprayed it and worked it for a few minutes and it was brand new again.
0 ramflava
My clay is slightly less sticky and falls apart a little less, but I don't like that it sticks to my hand at all.
0 matts88yj
All of my clay from Adams has been falling apart. I've since gone elsewhere for clay that doesn't fall apart when it's over 80 degrees outside. ramflava
