Paint on fender wells and side of truck.

I need to know the best way to remove dried paint from under the fender wells and along the side of

A truck. Paint has been there for some time. I've used apc and it does help to remove it but is there

Any better method to use? When using apc it helps break it down but still have to scrap the paint off

I don't mind doing this for the plastic fender wells but I don't like to scrap anything across my paint.

Clay Bar... Don't use it on the truck paint first, then use it on the fender well, then throw it out. No need in risking destroying your paint by keeping it or using it on the wheel well first.

 

If that doesn't work, maybe try mineral spirits.

I have also had great success with removing paint over spray with Adam's claybar. Good luck.

Have to agree here.  I got road striping paint on my old Vette and that's what took it off along with the detail spray. It takes some muscle, but it works.

Did the clay work? If not you may have to use something like 3M Adhesive remover.....remember once you get the paint off to re-wax or apply more sealant.
