0 mc2hill
I would recommend Adam's Car Wash Shampoo. It is Ph balanced and will not remove any protection (wax or sealant). It can be left on during the wash, no need to hose it off as you go, just let the suds stay on the car until you are finished with the whole thing. If you were trying to remove the wax, dish soap is ok, but most would recommend Dawn. Adam's does not recommend this, but instead suggests adding 2-3 oz. of APC to the Car Wash mixture to remove wax. 0 Rich
This is Adam's product forum. We're not going to recommend something other than Adam's. One..........because it's not good for business, and two.............there is nothing better. Just how close is Iowa to St. Thomas Ontario? Adams products are great but they're not the end all product in the world..I've used products where they were just as good and others where Adams was better..that's just my opinion tho..obviously for the Adams forums you're gonna recommend adams products.. How is this a downfall to the forum? This forum is intended for Adam's products. Definitely not a downfall of this forum. There are other detailing forums if you wish to stray away from Adams products. BluedogGMC

I don't see why this needs to continue a conversation about this lol it's really not a big deal Edited June 27, 2014 by 2013expressram
0 Ricky Bobby
I don't think the thread was whether we are 100% Adam's here, there are PLENTY of us on the forum who have shelves with non-Adam's products here, we just keep those discussions private because as was said, the man himself is paying for the forum for us. Guy comes in and posts that he uses dish soap to wash the car, obviously we are going to recommend Adam's Shampoo to him. If he was posting on Autogeek forums, there would be 50 different recommendations lol. Adam's soap is pretty phenomenal for the price though, I have to say, I have used others and keep Adam's soap on my shelf because it's the top soap I've used. 0 GXPaycheck
What you should NOT use is any kind of dish soap to wash a car. It will strip the wax and dry out the rubber parts. Hope that answers your question. Sorry about the other stuff. Edited June 30, 2014 by GXPaycheck

0 Typo
OT. But he got that song just as he was about to go on and that was his first performance of the song after just a quick run through. You can tell in the recording, but that just makes it so much better.
