As Garry Dean would say "It's all about lubrication people!"

I've been using Waterless (or now Rinseless 1:16 with distilled water) as clay lube for quite a while now, does just as good as Detail Spray if not better, and very cheap per ounce of product.

just to clear this up, do you use straight waterless wash as detail spray...or do you dilute it the same amount as rinse less wash?

You don't dilute waterless wash at all. You dilute the rinseless wash to turn it into waterless wash.

1 oz of rinseless wash to 16 ounces of water is the same as straight waterless wash.

So either the diluted rinseless wash or straight waterless wash is fine to use.
