I guess i should spend a few minutes to intro myself.  My name is Zach and im currently living in a small town in North Central Iowa.  Ive been a Die Hard Meguiars fan for years but as of late there has been a LOT of hype about Adams Polishes.  Im not going to lie - i have hundreds - if not thousands invested in Meguiars enthusiast, pro "mirror glaze", and detail line.  Ive been MORE than happy with all their products, and will likely continue to use them.

However, lately ive been thinking about trying some of the Adams line of products and this latest mystery box special finally made me pull the trigger.  I ordered 3 of the boxes and will see how the Adams line compares to the Meguiars lines.

Anyway - on to myself.  Im 29 years old and drive semi for a living.  Im also a HUGE car enthusiast and have 2 vehicles that i strictly show and cruise with while my 3rd vehicle is my daily driver, but sometimes also enters the show side of things.  Ive been big into vehicle detailing for the last 4 or 5 years, but the area i service is relatively low on the detail side of things for customer base, so ive turned more to just being an enthusiast and servicing my own familys/friends vehicles and the occasional customer for work.

Heres a picture of all my vehicles with a short description about each

Daily Driver: 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel

Modified drivetrain with an estimated 600-700 horsepower at flywheel, with 500 to 600 at the rear wheels.  It hosts a larger 64mm turbo with a different cam and full valvetrain, 175 horsepower over stock injectors, a dual disc clutch etc etc.  I have used it for daily driving, drag racing as well as sled pulling.

Show/Cruiser #1: 1983 Chevy C10 pickup

Fully restored chevy pickup with a McGaughys 4.5"/6" suspension drop kit with a moderately modified 355 small block chevy engine and well built TH700r4 transmission.  Soon to be replaced by a VERY modified 496 Big Block stroker with hopes of over 800 horsepower at the WHEELS.

Show/Cruiser #2: 1939 Dodge D11 Luxury Liner Deluxe

This car was originally bought by my father in the late 80s/early 90s in a non running condition and has been with our family since.  It currently DOES run and is in original running condition with the original 218 cubic inch flat head 6 engine producing 75 years ago a whopping 87 horsepower.  The paint on this car is NOT original, nor are the wheels, in fact the paint was originally seabase green and had since been painted red and then its current white.  the paint is in VERY rough condition and ive done almost all i can do to bring back any shine/correction it will allow.

Welcome Zach!!  Im in Cedar Rapids!  I just also bought some Adams products (deep wheel cleaner, detail spray, waterless wash, APC and buttery wax) and Im 100% impressed!!

The deep wheel cleaner is AMAZING!  I have yet to find another cleaner that works as well as it does.  The detail spray wipes off with no streaking, smells awesome and leaves a very slick surface.  And the buttery wax...  well lets just say it lives up to the other products.  Put it on, let it haze and wipe it right off.  Also, like all of Adams products, smells amazing!!

Welcome Zach, I can tell you with confidence you will be amazed at the products and service from Adam's...side bonus is the forum where you can get help from Adam's and others that use the products on their own & also to make a living.

I am on a roadtrip bringing my daughter to college in Utah and at every stop I have received compliments and questions on my truck, it is a 2003 Chev crew cab that has had the Adam's treatment the last 4 years of its life & it looks better now then when new.

Make sure to watch the video' sand ask questions on the forum, many helpful people around here!

Best of luck with the transition.

You have a sweet lineup of vehicles and I can't wait to hear your feedback on what you think! If you have any questions/comments about any of our stuff, do not hesitate to tell us!

  • 2 weeks later...

Welcome from the Coralville / Iowa City area!!!! Glad to see another guy from Iowa getting into Adam's products. I have been using their products for the last 4 months and I will not use anything else on my vehicles. I just placed an order last night for some gallon sized bottles of several of their products. My vehicles have never looked as great as they do now from using Adam's products.

:2thumbs:  Welcome.  I have been a Zaino's product user for years, but am making the switch over to Adams because I am mostly impressed with their customer service.  I have not used their products long enough to make an educated recommendation, but from the products I have used I have been impressed.  Plus the Forum for information is top notch.

Welcome to our little corner of the Internet Zach, and thanks for giving our product a try!  Great stable of vehicles as well, can't wait to see how the "massaged" 496 turns out!

Megs makes some of the best over-the-counter products on the market, can't say a bad thing about them.  I think you'll enjoy our lineup though.  ;)

What did you get in your Mystery Boxes?!?
