How do I get a spoiled milk smell out of the car?

crewxp

Question

We just purchased a new 2014 escape for the mom. A gallon of ice cream was accidentally left in the back overnight and it smells like spoiled milk now. We cleaned the carpet but the car still smells bad.

I'm only familiar with adams products for cleaning spots, not smells. :(

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do?

Beat me to it.  Baking soda........lots of it.  Pour it over the area. Let it sit, reapply, let it sit and then vacuum it up.  Then spray some fabreeze on it. That's advice from the mrs.

Thank god it wasnt spilled ice cream, getting spoiled milk smell out of carpet is a nightmare.

Leave the windows open to get plenty of fresh air in there after doing the below.

I'd use approx a whole can of Ozium in there as well to really kill the smell.
