How to best clean my daily day to day.

pirahnah3

Question

Ok so I love my Adams products SOOO much easier than other products I have used.

So my general question is with my daily driver. I drive a 2015 F250 Crew Cab for work and do about 1,000 miles a week with her. The adams products certainly make that white truck shine and look good. With that said this truck is just a bug magnet going down the highway.

My current setup is....

About to do her first paint correction and finish, then the liquid paint sealant, then a coat of buttery to top it all off.

So with that, what is the best way to clean the front grill area regularly without destroying the rest of my work on the truck. With all the driving I almost need to scrub the front end daily, the truck could also use a pollen and dust rinse at about the same intervals. Im assuming (oh gosh that A word) that a rinse and dry would not be the end of the world for the finish and just hit it with the detail spray afterwards as needed. However im open to changing my ideas and thoughts so fire away with the ideas!

Thanks guys and gals.

JIm.

The sealant will help the bugs not stick nearly as much. My wife takes out boys to her hometown every month or so when I have a job that will take much of the weekend. She would go up there and back and would have 30-40 bugs all over the front. She has gone up there two weekends in a row since I last wash&H2OG&G, ans she has come back with a total of 10 from both trips. They seam to almost bounce right off.

When there were really bad I would spray them with Rinseless 1:6 or another bug spray, soak a handful of towels in either hot water or Rinseless solution, lay them on the problem areas of the car to soak, and they would normally just wipe away

Jim,

I'm fairly new to this detailing stuff, too, so I'll let the experts weigh in.  But the tip I picked up on this forum to help with bugs on the front grill is a can of Quick Sealant.  Before any road trip or maybe once a week after washing, spray the Quick Sealant on anything that's going to get bugged: grill, headlights, side mirrors, etc.  Really makes cleaning the bugs off much easier.

Also, as Greg said, the Rinseless solution or a bottle of Waterless Wash does wonders on bugs.
