LT1xL82
My Adam's Fire Hose Nozzle has a sticker declaring "Dual Gallonage". What is that?
0 Kingsford
Maybe this will help you. Task Force Tips in Indiana makes Dual Gallonage Nozzles along with places like Elkhart Brass and Akron. http://www.tft.com/productsearch/productgroup_details.cfm?productgroup=TWISTER%20SERIES Basically it gives you two GPMs when twisting. Kind of hard to explain if I'm not there (I'm a hands on teacher). Edited July 14, 2015 by Kingsford
0 LT1xL82
On the Adams nozzle, what is done to switch the flow rates? Are stream and shower available for both flow rates?
0 Kingsford
When you twist the nozzle the GPM is adjusted.
0 LT1xL82
Thank you for your replies. I'm not sure mine works correctly...for starters it will not turn the water off completely. And it sprays at a slight angle. Looking from the front, the "valve and seat" are not concentric. Dealer says this is common. Not so sure that is acceptable. As I twist the nozzle from closed (but leaking! ) to full on it goes from shower mode, to stream, to a more distant stream. Presumably the later is the higher "gallonage" position?
