Hey all, Nick from Montana here. New to Adam's and already have a pretty good start. I have a new Silverado midnight edition for my DD, a silver traverse the wife drives and my garage queen, a black 70 chevelle. Love the products so far and looking forward to my mystery box I ordered today.

Welcome Nick!

A lot of good people and information here!

Be sure to also check out the Adam's videos for additional information regarding products and processes.

Lastly, as Dan mentioned, be sure to post pictures of your vehicles when the opportunity presents itself!

Thanks for the welcomes!

I think I have seen most of the videos on the Youtube channel already! That is mostly what got me started with Adam's products. I really appreciate the time they put in demonstrating and explaining the products and how to get the best results.

Welcome Nick!
I'm glad we got you started with the mystery box. When your ready to talk about what else you need, feel free to call the office at 866-965-0400 and I can help point you in the right direction.

Thanks, I have a pretty good selection of product already (the mystery box was the 4th order in under a month! :help: ), but I will take you up on that for sure if I need anything. I read quite a bit of good things about the customer support and haven't been disappointed yet!

Also, I will get some pics of my rides up as soon as I can. thanks again everyone!

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally, here are a couple pics of my rides. I have some big plans for the Chevelle over the winter. Want to get a Flex or Rupes 15 and get the paint perfect. I did the wet sand and rotary buff myself and it needs a good final polish to get it perfect. Not to mention the junk microfiber I used to use didn't do it any favors.

Oh yeah and that's my little helper...or supervisor...he is a little young to help just yet. He loves to "drive"

the car though!

The truck is in pretty good shape. it has a few light swirls and a couple spots that need corrected but I bought it right out of the PDI so it didn't get abused by the lot boys to bad before I got it. The worst thing about it is the wheels...they are painted and they already have some pretty good swirls in them. if anybody has any good ideas on how to maintain them I'm all ears.

Nick, both vehicles are sharp!

On your truck wheels, since they are painted, you would treat them the same as the paint on the body.

Perhaps a 4" pad on the Adam's holder used in a hand held drill using Correcting Polish will remove the swirls?

You could then go over them with foam pads, and Finishing Polish, and seal them up with either Liquid Paint Sealant, or Quick Sealant spray.

That Chevelle brings back some memories. I had a 69 SS 396 and a 72 454 SS.  Both blue with white stripes. Great cars.  If I knew then what they'd be worth today................would have kept them both.  Congrats on the nice rides and the little guy.  He'll be helping in the garage before you know it.

Thanks Robert, and yeah I probably just need to do a little hand work on the wheels to get the swirls out. right before I took the pic I hit them with G&G then a shot of quick sealant. hopefully that will help protect them. I have some winter wheels I will be putting on before long.

Thanks Rich, a Chevelle is hard to beat. they have some pretty sweet lines. The guy who helped me paint this car is doing a 72 right now that will be blue w/ white stripes.

That truck is pretty badass!

Thanks Alex!
