Master Blaster temperature

RacerX

Question

I recently bought a Master Blaster Revolution and just plugged it in today to test it out.  It supposedly warms the air, but as near as I could tell, the air coming out of it was just room temperature.  I tried it with both switches - same results.

For you folks that own one, should the air coming out be noticeably warmer?

The scary part of my test was - while holding my hand in front of the nozzle to check the temperature, twice I felt something tiny strike my hand - hard enough that it was painful..  I sure hope that was just a one-time thing of some dust inside coming out... it came out with enough force to put a serious scratch in paint if I had been pointing it at a car.

Welcome to the Forum first off.  Lots of help here.  As far as the temperature it takes some time for it to warm up.  It isn't right away.  I want to say it will warm the air temperature 60 degrees over surrounding air temperature.  If I recall correctly.  As far as stuff flying out of it I couldn't help you there.

Check your filters on the blower make sure they were installed correctly. As for temp it takes some time to warm up it Def gets warmer it was 8 deg c this morning and the air was way hotter coming from the master blaster

Thanks, folks.  I let it run for two minutes this time and I could feel the air get warmer.

Do I just remove the four screws at the inlet end to check the filter?

There is a plastic knob on the back that you can unscrew and the filter is a gray foam pad behind that.  The filter seems to last quite a while I have only removed mine a time or two and removed all the dust bunnies and dog hair that have accumulated on the filter.  You should notice junk on it without having to remove filter to check.  If that makes sense.
