I apologize if this has been discussed already but I did a couple searches and nothing came up. I have my eye set on a set of rims but they only come in a matte black finish and I really want them to be gloss black. Is there a way (without powdercoating or painting) to get the finish to a glossy black? I have read about possibly wet sanding with a high grit and clear coating. Would that work? could I possibly get away with doing a polishing cycle on them with my porter cable?
