Well guys. Just as the title says my gf got a new car sat. The salesman tried to argue with me about why she needed to pay for THEIR "paint sealant" instead of me doing it myself, story short he got a scolding by me and backed down fast about it haha. Anyway she got a 2016 ford escape ecoboost 4wd in magnetic gray. Got about 3k or 4k off sticker price. Here's some pics.

She is going to really shine once you can put a little love to that paint.

I would HIGHLY recomend doing the rail dust removal to the whole car before trying much of anything you might be shocked at what it shows.

Very nice! I have quite a few friends and relatives now with the new Escapes and they all are very pleased. I'm sure your girlfriend will be happy too :)

I've toyed with the idea of boost controller, intercooler, air intake, bov/wastegate, some sort of a tuner/programmer etc

Just be warned, anything to do with the computer WILL leave footprints, they can even tell what dealerships have hooked up to it even just to look into the computer now.

Got this info from both a ford dealer friend and an independent repair shop that works on large ford trucks.

Personally I would stick to bolt ons for now so that you dont void the warranty unless it doesnt matter to you.

Honestly I'm not too concerned. I've spent a lot of years as a wrench for various dealers from chevy to ford to Chrysler etc. Also worked for independent shops.

Manufacturers can even tell how much weight you have towed with your vehicle.

Figured I'd share some updated pictures of her car.

I'd like to thank Mrs whitetail doe deer for everything. She has truly changed our lives. .

I hope everyone is ok. I think with the right machine and some paint correction and finishing polish that will buff right out

I told her I can buff it out. She asked to watch haha.

It just suprised me how an animal hit can do that much damage
