Chrome polishing

Will using the micro fiber cutting pad with correcting polish have good results removing fine scratches in chrome? Was thinking about attacking the chrome slip on pipes on my street glide, that have fine scratches, with the rupes mini and a micro fiber pad, but figure I may as well ask here first before attempting

I sometimes use Revive or PCP / PFP on chrome, but I also get great results on my Road Glide using the 4"blue foam pads and Metal Polish. Try both methods.

I used other MF pads on Diamond Plate before with Adam's Metal Polish #1 and #2.

 

Worked pretty well I thought.

 

I dont know about getting scratches out though but it'll shine it up. Depends on how deep the scratch is and if the tip is clear coated or not.
