Insanely hard water spots

I was fooled! When I pre-checked the paint, I figured the water spots looked bad but are probably easy to get rid of with a clay bar or paint finishing at its worst but boy was I wrong. It took no less than 4 passes with paint correcting polish and microfiber pad for each 2x2 sections to get rid of it.

I would've never guessed that water could get so deep into the car like that and cause such a pain. The current owner takes very good care of the car but said the previous owner is to blame for this, it's the one thing that always bothered him about the car.

To be honest, I wouldn't even know how to duplicate this issue.

You know those mid-day showers followed by the sun at full steam?  Worst thing ever.  Heck, ^^^^Michael above me would know all about that in Florida!

Surprisingly I don't have big problem with that (well maybe because they are a daily occurrence in the summer).  Sprinklers are much worse!
