Vinyl Stripe Management

GT350

Question

I am trying to find out the recommended way to take care of vinyl stripes. My GT 350 has white vinyl stripes. Currently, I just wash them (carefully), but I want to know if there is any product that is recommended to help protect them? I have read that wax might not be a good thing to do. Any suggestions?

Pics of your GT350, Robert...?

Thanks for the shortcut--great information (I guess I could have dug a little deeper in the forums and found it!).  I plan on doing some serious work on the GT350 this weekend (depending on how the weather goes).  Once I get it cleaned up, I can post some pics.

Here is a pic of the car when it was at the dealership around Christmas time 2015.  I bought the car in January.  When I bought it, the sales staff didn't want to drive it off the showroom floor--they gave me the keys to get it out on the lot for the make ready process.

Did some work on the car today.  Washed it using the car wash pads (they laid down some serious suds on the car).  Used the VISCO clay bar and applied the liquid paint sealant (used P21S paint cleanser in between since I already had it).  The double-soft microfiber towels are awesome--comfortable to use and quickly removed the sealant.  The invisible undercarriage spray did an awesome job on the front wheel wells.  The super VRT did a great job on the side and chin splitters.  Definitely need some In & Out spray (ordered some tonight).  Didn't get any great pictures since I was worried about the car getting rained on.
