Check out this factory finish - HEAVY Pics!

Question

Being I'm new to Porsche...really any vehicle of this value....I am blown away by the level of quality finish on them.... In particular the GT3's GT Silver is spectacular!!! But up close the 'Carrera White Metallic' on the Cayenne is absolutely stunning! Both colors are $3k+ special color options. Ouch. But amazing colors.

Now I'm sure many on here could take them to an ever higher level of shine. But for me, they are more than perfect.

Of course, as you can see, even though I don't post much anymore, my loyalty to the Adam's 'team' is steadfast!!

I've only ever used the GDWM and one application of G&G in the 5 months I've owned it. Detail spray used every other washing. But the pic of the car on the lift is before I ever even washed it as the car had 50 miles. Went from dealer straight to Fabspeed and Dougherty Automovite for the track preparation.

Happy motoring!

Its 2am here and Im loving all of your pictures! Fantastic vehicles and the paint sure does look good. Must be a dream to own and drive them

Thanks Justin! Absolutely a dream come true!

Took 17 years working on my career, no degree and a failed marriage to get to where I am now. I've been fortunate to have great parents, opportunities and the guts to act.

I didn't grow up with these cars / big money, so I'm fully aware of how fortunate I am and I've been 'stopping to smell the roses' more often now.

New champ of the forum Phil! Wow. Amazing rides and I know how hard you work - you aren't just a trust fund kid or something. Amazing. And may I say I've been looking for a 6MT Cayenne GTS for months to replace my 3 pedal E53 but haven't found the right color combo with low enough miles.

Thanks bud!

I didn't even know they made the Cayenne in a manual. That could be interesting....!

Ok...so it looks like a back in 2008-2010 you could get one with a M6. Very cool! WARNING- if you appreciate the finer things and are a 'driver'......once you go Porsche you'll never want to go back! Lol

Yep the GTS up until 2010 as well as the S trim I believe (4.8L) but don't quote me with a 6MT - Second Gen was only available in base model 3.6L VR6 with the 6MT -

First gen 6MT's super rare!!!  And you know I love my rare vehicles - and yes I'm sure the build quality and Porsche quality is impeccable, I remember sitting in a Cayenne S about 10 years ago and although my mom had the same car basically (V8 Touareg) the Cayenne just felt so much sportier and well appointed, and even with the lowly 6 cylinder it sounded intoxicating to drive!

Wow! Absolutely beautiful cars you have there! The paint on both looks great!

Great post and awesome cars!

Beautiful vehicle and great pics!

Thanks guys! It's a dream being realized.

RickyBobby- dude....you DEFINITELY need to get the Cayenne. However, *WARNING* - the difference in quality to everything else I've EVER been in is so drastic!

I literally just took my Cayenne for a 15 minute drive around my area at 1am because it is SOOO enjoyable to drive. Granted I'm a true driving enthusiast....But I get the feeling you (at a minimum) appreciate fine engineering, and so my point is.....You will be ruined after experiencing a Porsche. At least I was! Everything else pales in comparison now.

I also attached another pic I just posted on IG. The top one was the gray Cayenne S eHybrid I bought in late December. Combined power was 406 HP and 4XX TQ. 0-60 is 5.4. The bottom is the Cayenne S I just bought at the end of April. Ouch. But it was well worth it. New one has 420hp and 4XX+ TQ twin turn 3.6V6. Towing capacity is 7700.
