Ceramic Coating - missed a spot

noquarter

Question

Posted this in LSP forum but 2 conflicting responses.  Just wondering if anyone has an idea on how to proceed.

------------------

Hey all,

I took Friday off to make a weekend therapy session with the car.  =)

I applied the ceramic coating and it looks amazing.   I will post up pics soon.

I have a question though.   After it cured it looked like I had 2-3 small spots where the color was different.  By small I mean maybe 2x2".   I am assuming I somehow missed these spots when cross hatching or didnt wipe it enough?

What are my options.  Can I simply clean those spots and just reapply coating?  Or do I need to do full correction (hoping not).

Thanks

If it's a High Spot that wasn't leveled and wiped, you can use Finishing Polish on a Microfiber and Lightly, Very lightly rub the spot, it will remove the high spot without removing all of the coating.

I couldn't be 100% sure it was a high spot or a missed spot so I played it safe and polished it.
