Tree Sap on Soft Top

Question

On the weekend, a lovely tree decided to put one drop of sap on my fabric soft top on the Camaro.  i have my roof protected with another companies product/sealant for convertibles and the question I have is what other peeps here do to clean off the sap residue.  Don't want to force the sap deeper into the fibers of the fabric, yet would like to try to lift it out somehow.  What have others done to try to remove sap from fabric soft tops?  Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Sap is gone... sprayed the whole top with CG Soft top cleaner and used my cockpit brush to agitate it and big time rinsing.  Top was previously sealed with their sealant, but don't like it's performance so unless Adam's comes up with a product, 303 will be applied to it soon.  Thanks for all the advice. :)

Hi Greg, for tree sap and other stains in fabric tops - bird bombs, etc - I will spray some of our All Purpose Cleaner onto the affected area, let it soak for 30-60 seconds, and then gently scrub with our Cockpit Brush to help lift the sap. Then rinse very thoroughly with a steady stream from your garden hose and spray nozzle.

Sounds Good..I'll give it a go.. good thing is the one drop is about the size of hole punch so wont take much product or scrubbing..I hope...  :)
