mathews31
A few weeks ago I heard Matt from Obsessed Garage saying you can polish glass, I tried yesterday with the SK and the blue correcting compound. But I didn't notice any difference. Anyone have any experience with that? Edited June 14, 2017 by mathews31
0 mc2hill
You can polish glass, but only water spots. For anything more you need different products and pads. ocdrifter
0 pirahnah3
What goal are you looking to achieve? I have heard you can use pads and some prodcuts to do it, but I personally have had great luck with just #0000 steel wool over either detail spray or glass cleaner. 0 GXPaycheck
There are glass polishing products out there. SumBeach35
0 PacificNWBuckeye
I don't believe the Adam's line is abrasive enough to be very effective on glass, but as Jim noted above #0000 Steel Wool with glass cleaner will knock down most stubborn items from glass with no ill effects. 0 LT1xL82
Glass is much harder than paint. If you're trying to remove defects like scratches...it will take different pads and polish. A messy job BTW.
0 Greg from GA
I used clay and the orange pad and polish to get water spots off. Seemed to work fine. LT1xL82
0 azscj
I just went over the glass on my Ford F250 with a clay bar but still have some hard water spots I want to remove in some areas. I bought Adams glass cleaner and sealant, but probably need to try to remove the water spots first. The 0000 steel wool and glass cleaner works to remove the water spots? Someone here has had luck with that?

0 Mariner
If the spots aren't too far gone, Revive Hand Polish and the blue hex grip work just fine for me.
0 azscj
Ok..thanks for the responses. So those are both Adams products so I can give them a try. I assume you are doing this by hand and not using a machine on the glass?

I assume you are doing this by hand and not using a machine on the glass? I apply RHP by hand. But then again, I usually catch my water spots a day or two after I notice them. If you wait too long, they get much worse.
