dskinsler83
What do I use to get the polishing/waxing residue out of the black plastic trim on my car. It took a couple of days to show up I thought I had enough VRT on them before starting. HELP
0 rkj4243
All Purpose Cleaner or Tire & Rubber Cleaner will clean the black plastic trim, just be careful not to get any on the freshly sealed or waxed paint. Best to spray it onto an all purpose towel and wipe or scrub until clean. Norton and dskinsler83
0 Nathan
I second using APC or tire and rubber cleaner with a utility towel and scrubbing. Edited June 29, 2017 by Nathan ocdrifter and dskinsler83
0 FrozenWS6
I use a soft toothbrush with tire and rubber cleaner to get wax out of trim. dskinsler83, SumBeach35 and ocdrifter
0 Mariner
I like to stare at it for days and weeks until it eventually washes off. I hope it would remind me to tape off or VRT the trim next time for polishing. Hasn't worked yet... falcaineer, Checo, dskinsler83 and 2 others

0 Chris@Adams
I agree APC & TRC are your best friends when it comes to cleaning your trim.
