The_Gingernator
Hello all, I'm in the market for some auto cleaning supplies and was sent over here by a few friends. Mainly just looking to start out with washing and waxing. Which foam gun do I buy? I have a '17 F350 I need to give the works top to bottom. and are your products safe for vinyl wraps? I also have a Mustang that is wrapped that may need an occasional wash / rub down. thanks, Jake
Thorsager
Welcome to the forum! If you have a pressure washer you could get the foam cannon. If not then the standard foam gun would work. The Ultra Foam Shampoo and Adams Car Shampoo are both ph neutral and safe for your vinyl wrap.
pirahnah3
Welcome to the forums, Thor has you covered on the stuff! The shampoos are great, they even have a matte detailer for your non shiny vinyl needs. Their regular detail spray is awesome. Careful keeping them clean and shiny becomes an addiction.
M3Eric
Welcome! Yes as Thor already said...if you have a pressure washer, the foam cannon w/ Ultra Foam Shampoo is the way to go, if no pressure washer then the foam gun is your other option. I have both and they both work great, although I gotta say that I absolutely love my foam cannon. I lay a blanket of foam thats just rediculous and honestly I think its fun so it takes the "work" feeling outta washing for me! Also, Jim is correct. This becomes an addiction so be careful! I have tons of stuff already and just placed 3 more orders last week (around $450)...a good option for you to get started is the mystery boxes...this gives you the option to try products and you get them at a cheaper price as a bonus! My addiction started with 1 mystery box last year and it has snowballed from there!! check out the mystery box here
wildcatz80
Hi Jake, Welcome to your new home... Yes, this gets very addicting... You will love this product. I sure do.... WARNING - The mystery box is addictive, and it is like gambling. Don't buy any if you are afraid of getting something you don't want or need. There are no returns or exchanges on Mystery Box items for reasons like "I didn't need this" or "I already have 2 of these". If you don't like to gamble stay out of the casino! Yes, especially for a vehicle that cannot be polished. Some even add 1 or 2 extra rinse bucket for more pad cleaning.
