R/T-Shadow
Hey guys! So I recently did a full process of paint correction as well as a paint sealant. I was curious if I can put a ceramic coating over the sealant or if I would have to strip it down again to apply the ceramic costing. Thanks! 0 shane@detailedreflections
You’ll definitely want to get the sealant off of there. A coating should always go direct to polished and prepped paint.
0 pirahnah3
Yes @shane@detailedreflections has it spot on, per step 4 of the instructions 4. After all paint surfaces have been clayed and polished, continue the cleaning process by using Adam’s Coating Prep to leave the paint bare and free of any residue. https://adamspolishes.com/paintcoating
0 R/T-Shadow
Dang! I wish I would have waited for the ceramic coating to get here. Does anyone know if there is a shelf life for the ceramic coating? I can't seem to find anything on the bottle or instruction pamphlet.
0 shane@detailedreflections
Usually it’s a year or two. Once opened, the life span shortens considerably.
