How to remove a melted lollipop

Hi I have a question on what is the best way to remove a melted lollipop from an interior carpet

I found a thread on the topic from not to long ago:

 

There are comments down in the thread about not using heat since it will melt the candy more.  My resident expert, "wife", said to use the cold method for getting it out.

I used an ice pack and had pretty good luck. It didn’t come out completely but it is way better

Yes I do

ICE!  Freeze it first, then you can peel it off.  After you peel it off, then soak it with water and blot as much off as you can. Then use some Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner on the whole area, otherwise you'll end up with a clean spot.

Use canned air upside down and freeze and pick.
