Ceramic Boost 2.0 Application

Question

Hi Forum Members,

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for Ceramic Boost 2.0 application on Ceramic Coated cars. I'm getting some streaks in the application on Deep Black Pearl paint on our VW Atlas R Line.

I have tried spraying directly on paint and wiping and I have tried spraying a liberal amount on an application microfiber and buffed with a clean microfiber. The second technique seems to work a little better but I wanted to see if anyone might have some ideas I haven't thought of?

Overall I like the hydrophobic properties and application, it's easy to apply and buff and extra gloss on top of the Ceramic Coating is nice.

Streaking with silica based products is usually too much product. You need very little of this product to be effective. A spray or two a panel. That’s it. Especially once the towel absorbs some. It spreads thin and works in until it’s streak free.

It can be a finicky product.
