Tbone76 Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 For a black daily driver that is routinely outside for the majority of hours in a day, where the desired look is that high shine, wet paint look, do people lean towards Buttery Wax or a Paste Wax (i.e. Americana)?
0 Nickfire20 Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Brilliant Glaze and Americana. I use to Glaze my Tahoe twice a month for fun... Rich 1
0 ObsessedDetailer Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 @Tbone76 Sorry for the late response. But I was just bored and though I'd chime in on this topic. I did use the Buttery wax for a while on my black ford escape. Its not bad but it didn't have the longevity I was looking for. I upgraded to Ceramic Paste wax and I applied it towards the middle of August and it still is extremely hydrophobic. Im sure the Americana is great, but I figured I might as well go big and get ceramic wax as well as ceramic boost and I love it. I use buttery wax on cars that I detail on the side. Buttery wax is a good product if you like to wax about once a month. I am not a huge fan so I decided to go a different route.
0 Rich Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Agreed. Ceramic is my favorite so far. I still like Patriot, but the Ceramic is just a step up.
