Question

Posted

Sup boys and girls. I must've dropped my clay bar tin and didn't realize that the lid cracked. I went to use my clay on my moms truck a few days ago because some assnuts decided it would be fun to egg the side of her new Jeep :willy:. Anyway, the clay was kind've dry - is it time to by a new set or can I salvage these? I didn't use the Adam's clay so I don't know if its still functional or not. I had an old thing of meguiars clay unopened that I've been meaning to get rid of so I used that then threw it out lol

Try soaking it in Detail Spray overnight, that might juice it up!

i would also spray it on real good and try to work it into the clay with your fingers or knead it while spraying it down with DS.

Let us know if it works. I always thought that once it dried out that it was garbage. If it works, that would be helpful info to know.

I spray some DS in the container as well when I store mine. I've been doing it that way for a long time.

I wrap my slightly used clay in a separate baggie, which I also use to decide whether a surface needs claying or not.

DS is a good idea...
