roushpwrd Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I live in Central Massachusetts. Does anyone here from MA know where I can have two tires mounted on wheels. The tires are 315/35/17 and the wheels are 10 1/2 inches wide??? I use to go to this place in Clinton however they don't want to do it anymore. Another place wants me to sign a wavier and that leads me to think they have no confidence in themselves. I just can't bring myself to sign something like that...
jub jub Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Do you have a Discount Tire nearby? They have the latest equipment to do the job properly. They also do road force balance which is the bomb-diggity when it comes to balancing a tire.

Nitelord Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 10.5" wheels seem to be within the specs of all the tires I checked. Seems strange unless it's common practice to have a waiver. Although, I've not run across that yet, here in PA. Maybe their tire machine can't handle the wider wheels or anything wider than stock requires a waiver.??? IDK.
mikegeaney Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Jim, there's a great place in Nashua just a few minutes north of where the detail clinic was held. http://www.tiresupermarket.com/ A guy I work with turned me on to that joint. I bought a set of tires there and he's been going there for like 20 years. The folks are very nice and they seem to have all the latest in equipment. Not sure how far that is for you, but you may want to give them a call.
roushpwrd Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 Thank you all for the responses....I actually dropped them off at KTR racing in Ayer....they are mounting them for me and I will pick them up tomorrow....that waiver thing scared me and I did run!!! I will keep the other places in mind for later...Thanks again!!!

I also see Auburn and Leominster. Edited March 28, 2009 by Mnitetrain
