THeyward
Love Adam's products, just used the Wheel Cleaner on these Dick Cepek wheels and it seems to have stained the wheel. It's like a white coating, cant tell if it removed the factory black or not. Any suggestions.
0 TGHaworth
With the streaking on the tires too, it makes me think you left the cleaner on the wheels for a while. Were they hot? In the sun? Did the cleaner dry or begin to dry? Adam’s Wheel Cleaner is pretty strong stuff, can do some damage to finishes if not rinsed off within a couple minutes of application. 0 BRZN
First try washing them again with a milder Wheel Cleaner, heck even just Car Shampoo may improve them. Dry them completely then use either Hand Polish if Clear Coated, or Metal Polish #2 if raw metal. When using the Wheel Cleaner do only one wheel at a time, in the shade, when the wheel is cool, and do not let the product dry on the wheel. Rinse thoroughly after agitation. The tire should clean up by scrubbing with Tire & Rubber Cleaner or TAR. kaj41354 and BrianT
