for the ceramic coating what its for? is it for the hot climate weather states?

It is another form of protection.  It will be more durable than a wax or sealant.  Climate does not matter.  Climate will play a factor in the flash time of a coating.

Coatings still degrade but at a lower rate compared to the other two.  So yes coatings are semi-permanent.
