Kickerz71
Just a question will the coating cause issues when the wheel weights are installed. Will they have a hard time to stick on the wheel? im waiting on a new set and not sure if I should coat prior to tire install or wait until it’s balance and the tire is on thank you
0 falcaineer
Yes, it can cause issues, weights can become dislodged from the wheels. I would recommend you get them mounted and balanced first and then coat.
0 GXPaycheck
I suggest not coating the area where the weights would go. You could use a line of masking tape over that section. That way if the wheels have to be rebalanced down the road you won’t have to remove the coating when weights are moved.
0 The Guz
Wait until you get the tires mounted and balanced. The tire sop will make a bit of a mess and you will need to clean them up a bit. As mentioned about the weights as well.
0 Kickerz71
Update - I received my ceramic wheel kit. Once I have prepared my wheels, I apply the ceramic then once cured I remove with suede towel? The kit came with the suede towel and 2 double soft microfiber towels. Thanks in advance. E Do an initial wipe with the suede to level, then the double soft to remove remaining residue.
