gred1987
I have been using Adam's products for 10 years now or so, I know how to use them correctly and love their products. Someone keyed my wife's new Pacifica on the front fender, it is a flat ceramic gray color. Busted out the Swirl and Haze remover to see if I could "blend it" to hide it from the eye. Was working well on 70% of the scratches, which is what I was expecting and I am happy with the results. BUT I noticed a dark spot on the paint appear, about the size of a silver dollar. It is to the right of the vertical scratch. Can anyone tell me it is?? Did I burn through the clear coat? It is smooth the touch and not rough or bleeding. Can I fix it with Polish? 0 BrianT
That is an odd dark spot for sure. I have no idea what it could be. I would however fill the scratch with paint and then top it it with some clear coat. I’d wet sand it smooth, then polish it out.

0 wildcatz80
Hi, It will be multiple things that can cause that like different polishes used, a coated car but only polished spot not entire panel. Did you polished the entire panel or just where it's keyed? I would recommend to do the panel with Polish first if it was not done.

I did swirl haze remover mostly over the scratch spot but did go a few inches left and right of it. So your saying fine polish will take out that dark spot maybe? 0 07stanggt
You wont burn through that with a Porter cable. Does it feel rough or not as smooth as the paint around it?
