MerchantofDesire
Looking to clean the crappy felt battery cover in my 2012 Passat. I’ll eventually replace it with a hard plastic box but for now it is what it is. Im nervous enough cleaning under the hood and don’t want to end up killing something. The felt looks terrible. thanks
0 Rich
About the most I'd recommend would be to use a good brush on it. You don't want to get it wet. If you have spots or dirty areas, spray the cleaner lightly onto a micro cloth and wipe, then brush again after it's dry.
0 mc2hill
I have had a luck with foaming carpet cleaners and foaming tire cleaners. No scrubbing needed and the foam brings the dirt to you!
0 QuickSilver20
If the cover is what I’m used to seeing I would take it off the car and just use a damp towel with water or maybe a little bit of APC.
