Hood polish only…🤔

So, I have some fading from hot wax on my Advanced Graphene Ceramic Spray coated car. The gloss has gone a way a bit. In spots. But on just the hood. The rest of the car is so glossy. So I don’t want to polish the rest of the car, yet. Just the hood. Could I just strip wash and IPA wipe, just the hood and polish just the hood, with polish w/ protection?

Of course. Polishing it will degrade if not completely remove the coating so you'll need to reapply as you did before.
