Claying a Graphene Coated Vehicel

I have just watched this video on Washing and Maintaining a Graphene Coated Vehicle.  I was always under the impression that Clay would leave a bunch of fine scratches. Usually only Clay when I poliish the vehicle. Would like to do this and I have to assume it's safe to do this. But would like your opinions.

Hi Al,

I have used the Fine Grade Clay on Ceramic Coated vehicles with no problem at all.    It did not leave any scratches or marring and I wouldn't hesitate to use the Fine Grade Clay again.

Agreed with @RayS, use Fine Grade and you should be ok.

I have never once clayed a coating and had no need to clay.  Adams seems to be the only one to recommend it.  There is always that risk of marring especially on soft paints.  

 

A chemical decon and 3 pH wash always works for me to keep a coating performing strong.

No.  As described on their site, Adam's Clay Mitt "is a medium grade clay material." (Emphasis added.)
