BMw is notoriously hard paint. But every car and condition is different, so the process is also going to vary. Start with a small test area, 1x1, somewhere indicative of the most of the car. The hood or trunk lid usually works well. Tape it off and try different combos of products, number of passes, etc. Start least aggressive and work your way up. Once you find a combination that works for you and that small area, it should work for about 80-90% of the rest of the car,  needing some adjustments for the rest. Shoot for 90% and you'll be thrilled. One other tip... Don't polish angry!
