0 falcaineer Posted November 20, 2022 Share Posted November 20, 2022 Hi, and welcome! Do you mean use Surface Prep in place of the clay? Yes, but it's not meant to do the same thing. Clay will remove bonded contamination while the prep is essentially just a cleaner, although it does target things like polish oils. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm the one talking to you on the IG account. To clarify, claying will help, but the baggie test he's referring to will help guide if you really need to. It certainly won't hurt though.
