New paint on aircraft

drivbiwire

Question

Aircraft is in final stages of painting with a a Sherwin Williams Polyester Urethane, planning on sealing the paint once it gets back and has had some time to cure completely. Need to protect this $$,$$$ investment!

Curious if the Graphene coatings are safe on acrylic windows... Silicones are NOT and can weaken them which is bad on a pressurized aircraft, not sure of the protection the Graphene coatings can provide (if any).

Also planning on applying the glass coating (no wiper blades on aircraft) to help clear rain and moisture.

Curious if anyone has any experience with aircraft applications.
