That's pretty tight! I like it! I wonder if the co name could be made a little larger? Surely its just me being picky, but I like to have the name stand-out more than any graphic...hope that's useful...not a slam by any means..

yes i agree.....thats what im looking for from the forum.....input before i have the decals made.....THANKS

I like it :2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

But instead of making the name larger I would just use colors that contrast better so the name stands out :hi::hi::hi:

speaking of color contrast, Im not sure I dig the combination of the black and white checkered flags with the orange flames and blue oval...maybe theres some way to normalize the color scheme a little

Im no graphic arts guy by any means, so take all of this with a grain of salt...hopefully there's something useful in that mess I just typed...lol

I think it looks great

But if you're looking for opinions I think the blue could be red with white lettering to really stand out. Not being picky, just a thought.

Make the name stand out much more... it's got to be easy to read, especially if it's on the side of your truck or trailer... people seeing it in traffic will have just a split second to process it, and if they cant' read your name (or get an idea of what you do) then it's a lost opportunity to make that impression.

Plus, having the name bigger and bolder (within tasteful reason) makes your company look more confident and stronger... always plusses.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I have a decal in the garage almost identical to that from another company.

Looks good though.

I don't like it too much, as I am a designer. It seems very cookie cutter to me. I don't see a need for flames, seems a bit much. When it comes to logos you want simplistic but eye catching, you also want it to effectively display your name, and I think the elements in this one really distract from your name.

Can you help him out with something better maybe? That would be cool. :2thumbs:

I agree with Mark...I think the flames are over-used and not needed here. The checkered flags make me think "race", "fast", "corvette", etc. The flames make me think "****, another set of flames"...lol

Hmm, possibly...

Yea, their are a lot of design elements played out, flames being one of them and your right checkered flags make me immediately think race or corvette.

Way too busy, way to "clip-arty", and too many colors.

Keep it simple.

But don't listen to me. I only do this kinda thing. lol.

I think it looks like they mailed one in. Fine if it was a design a guys 45 year old wife did with her first PC and newfound version of clip are deelux 1994 edition. A poor effort if you paid someone to do it who claims to do it for a living and accepts money for it. If you invested $15-$25 in it, then I guess you got what you paid for, but keep in mind it's the face of your company and also looks like it.

I think you would be better taking this and $50-$100 of your money for an hours worth of logo design from someone who does it.

Keep colors to a minimum. Think 1 or 2. Again keep it simple. It's your business. The job is to convey your business name. Also simple is easier to make on shirts, apparel, etc down the road. Think of the first 5 logos that come to mind. Odds are they are very simple, and 1-2 colors. Odds are also that the company makes billions of dollars per year, and it works for them.

Oh and whatever you do, don't print your business cards at home either. :lolsmack:
