Sundog Detailing Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 This thing beat the hell outta me! I didn't get complete correction but the customer is now a dedicated customer and will be keeping up with her vehicle, and next time it comes in I'll be working out the few spots that time didn't allow me to work all the way out. Loud Pedal Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Another fantastic job Taig I noticed you've got a sled in the garage, lets see a pic of that sometime
estecoca Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 ok...enough is enough. I think we need to launch a formal investigation into what the heck people are using to wash their vehicles with in AK. Ive never such horrible swirl marks as what Sundog has corrected....its ridiculous! Is there an abundance of SOS pads or something? An outlet for steel-wool?

Nice work Taig, again.
Superdutytd Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 That is crazy. I mean that is just plain crazy. Alaska does seem to be hard on vehicles. I think its really because of people using improper washing technique on vehicles that are that dirty just multiplies the amount of damage they do to them.
Chewy Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) WOW Taig! AWESOME to say the least man... Well think about it... Unless you have a heated garage with a drain how do you hand wash a car when the temp is WELL under freezing? You go to the drive through car wash and have it washed... I play hell here in the winter in IA trying to do it by hand let alone in AK. I usually just spray off the big chunks at the local high pressure hand car wash and call it good until a nice warm 36º day... Then I pull out my arm pit length gloves and go at it! Did you tell her to get the rust fixed around the rear wiper? THAT will be bad SOON! Edited April 14, 2009 by Chewy
