I could peg a 30 psi gauge but isn't it a bit overkill for you?

It looks awesome though!

my dad would peg 30psi easy he's got a 6.4L too lol....i dont remember seein anything lower than 30psi on the NV series but i could be wrong:confused:

Nice. Gotta love boost!!! How much psi are you running?

i havnt had it dyno'd yet but ive done a pulley swap so im guessin around 12psi....stock specs say they only put out 8psi but the factory gauge goes to 10 and i pegged it out everytime before i did the pulley swap....we'll find out exactly how much once i get it installed....ill even put up a vid if i can get it to come out lookin good lol

i was wrong....there is a 20 psi gauge i guess i overlooked it...oh well! IF i can get a 20 psi gauge in before the end of the month ima do that....would be nice to see the needle almost buried instead of just at the top haha

Nice, I got the Auto Meter Sport-Comp II boost and fuel gauges. Mine goes up to 30 psi too and I'm only running 6 psi :(. I hope to be running 11 psi before a mustang show in May at ocean city. Waiting on this shop to call me back. Need to get some Adam's employees over there to get things moving.

I def wasn't saying to get rid of it as it looks great! Get some pics of it (when its in the truck)! Who knows one day you might have a built motor running 24-25 PSI of boost!

Oh and yea these 6.4's are kind of retarded with boost pressure, I mean 37-38 stock

yea i know you werent sayin that lol....i am hopin to get it around at lesst 15psi with the next pulley swap but after that its goin straight to Houston to get tuned....yea i work at a ford dealership and i always see 6.4 work trucks comin in here from companies(mainly construction) always beatin on em too much

Nice gauge! I to think for a minute why it had Vac.:lolsmack: A gauge is more accurate if it is reading in the middle. Running close to max boost on a gauge is going to be off by a little.

haha thats funny....its obvious that you take a little bit better care of yours though since your on this site and all

we got it hooked up tonight im hostin the pic right now!....its not in the pod yet but i wanted to get runnin the lines and the wiring outta the way so it wont take so long once the pod is finished

you'll have to excuse the gauge just floating the way it is for now lol....just temporary till the pod is finished

bright enough?

Boostgauge005.jpg

as you can see it just drowns out the instrument cluster as far as brightness

Boostgauge006.jpg

has more of a glow in pictures...but the gauge is really quite bright...and i did hit 12...almost 13 psi tonight:D

Ya man that is really bright. I have the same problem. The Auto Meter gauges are way brighter than my stock ones. I was talking to someone and they said you could run a resistor in there to dim out the light some. I'm not good enough with wiring to do that, but later down the road I might take it in to be looked at. Dang with I was running 12 psi.

see i ran the power to the fuse for the instrumentation and the dimmer switch(same power supply...but the headlight switch and dimmer switch are separate).....a friend of mine put the autometer c2's in his diesel and they were too bright....so he just went out and bought a universal switch and ran his gauges to that and he got them to dim.....i kinda like the bright im gonna leave it lol

MAYBE BECAUSE IT IS A FORD. (Just getting on your case ford is good in my book but one comes before it though).
