Paint correction questions for a Ferrari Testarossa

AllanLambo

Question

Hello, Looking to get some advice on product recomendations to use on my 91 Testarossa to do a light correction. The paint on these cars is extremely thin so I dont want to go too crazy. After the correction I was thinking about ceramic coating it.  Was thinking it would make the paint surface harder which in term might equal less stone chips.

On the interior, a few people recomended using the graphene spray , stating it will protect surfaces that have been redyed better than the interior ceramic coating. Any truth to this?

Thanks in advance!

A coating will not protect against paint chips.  Paint Protection Film will.

As far as polishing a test spot is always a good step to determine how much correction is needed.  I worked on one of these and it had plenty of paint using my paint gauge.

For the interior stick with interior product such as a leather conditioner for this older leather.  A light cleaning will also help.

Welcome to the forum!  Nice ride!  My buddy just got a new Ferarri Spyder. Don't ask me any more about it because I don't know about Ferarris, other than WOW!!  For the leather......Leather Conditioner on everything .  Only thing I trust.  Even on non leathers.  If you use ANY kind of leather cleaner, then you absolutely must apply conditioner afterward to avoid drying out.
