Newb from PA....Brag'd N Drag'd!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!:hi: I only recently found this forum and I decided to join. I actully got turned on to Adams products last year when Adams was handing out free products at Carlisle Truck Nationals. It seems like there are alot of good people here and alot of good info. I have always been into cars and trucks and currently own a few but my pride and joy is my LIGHTNING! The truck is currently torn down completely getting ready for paint and a slew of new parts and body work. Just for those who think she is a show queen I can assure you that she def is not. I drive my truck to every show and has been driven as far as six hours away. My truck has never seen a trailer, goes through a set of rear tires in a good summer, and makes 432/493 at the wheels.

1. The first pic is when I first finished it. Please don't give me flack for the lambo doors, it was for show points.

2. The second was from the OC Car Show.

3. The third was right after I put it back together from getting the doors done and handles shaved.

4. The fourth and fith are from last years Carlisle Trauck Nats sitting with my friends bagged Dak R/T.

I even got the Adams display in the back ground.:2thumbs:

Very cool! :2thumbs:

Are you going to Carlisle All Ford Nationals?

Thank You! Sadly I will be in Ocean City for that week and I will not be able to make it to Ford Nats.

Hi Scott!

Thank you for joining us!

I love the pictures.

Are you going to be in Carlisle this week?

I would like to make it up to the Carlisle Spring but I am getting my wisdom teeth out on Friday afternoon so I do not know how I will feel on Sat :xfingers:.

Welcome-2.gif:hi::hi::hi:

Nice pics. What color are you painting??

Well it depends on the funds. I recently lost my job in this lovely economy, so I have to be careful as to where I spend my money, but we will see. Im am either going to paint the truck back to silver(cheapest) or go full custom with either candy maroon or candy topaz blue. I have a few weeks to decide till all of the work gets done and the last of the parts come in.

My truck is all custom built because back when I did my truck(4years ago) there wasn't any options for the Lightning. The truck currently has a two link with a custom bridge. I have the KP Comp cantilever setup to go in the rear but I am working on mod it to fit some 12-14" wide rims in the rear. Hear is a pic of my bridge.

Thank You! Wow thats a big turn out for this area. When I get the truck finished I will have to check that out. What is the name of the park?

Truck looks good! What kind of wheels you looking at getting?

I will be running Boss 335's for this year but I am ordering 2 extra wheels so that I can have them widen'd to 14" for another future project:burnout:

Hi Scott:

Welcome from a former Pennsylvanian. Real cool truck!

Thank You!

Very nice truck... looks much better shaved and suicided instead of lambo'd IMO.

Oh I def agree. The only reason those doors were ever on my truck was for show points. I would never put them on another vehic!
